Totteridge Gallery offers a wide variety of art in many styles, including British and European paintings, traditional, modern and contemporary.

Subjects available include still life, landscape, seascape, townscape, portrait, figurative, sporting, marine and wild life.

The gallery also stocks a good selection of limited edition Sir William Russell Flint prints.

Art lovers and collectors are most welcome to visit the gallery to browse the selection of artworks available.

We Buy Fine Art

We buy as well as sell fine art, and are always looking to purchase good quality paintings and art.

We will consider works in any condition, framed or unframed. If you cannot bring your items to the gallery, please contact us to discuss your work, or post or email details to us.

Art Valuations

Totteridge Gallery can undertake art valuations. We can provide valuations of works of art brought in to the gallery - or we can visit you.

Initial inspections are undertaken free and without obligation. We can usually give a verbal valuation, while written valuations are subject to a fee dependent on the value of the work.

If you are unable to bring your items to the gallery, we advise you to visit an art dealer or auction house in your locality.

Art Advice

We offer friendly advice on art and art-related matters, including the sale of art and the restoration of art works.

Gallery History

The gallery was established in Totteridge in London in 1985, and in 2004 moved to new premises in the heart of the north Essex village of Earls Colne - about 30 minutes drive from London Stansted airport, and not far from the well known 'antiques villages' of Coggeshall, Lavenham and Long Melford.

Totteridge Gallery's website went online in January 1998, and features a selection of the gallery's stock. The gallery occasionally exhibits at art fairs.
