Eric Pead

Eric Pead is a painter and teacher producing landscapes, coastal scenes and marine art, with the coasts and estuaries of Southern England being favourite subjects.
His artistic talent was obvious from a young age - he displayed and sold his art at the family restaurant at Leigh-on-Sea, where the fishing and marine activity and history of the area was a great inspiration to him.
Studied at Southend School of Art, before working for many years in the world of commercial art.
Eric Pead has enjoyed success at solo and group exhibitions. These have included the Royal Society of Marine Artists, Mall Galleries and the Royal Watercolour Society, Bankside, London, open exhibitions.
