Gerald Tucker

Tucker is best known for his paintings of Thames sailing barges and his coastal scenes. He studied at Harrow Art School, Regent Street Polytechnic and the Slade. He owned a Thames sailing barge at Pin Mill in Suffolk and converted it into an art gallery. His marine paintings have been exhibited at the Royal Society of Marine Artists, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, and the Mall Galleries, London. He sometimes signed his paintings 'Gerald Edwin Tucker'.
