| June Crisfield Chapman is a printmaker, painter, lecturer and writer. She graduated in wood engraving from Glasgow School of Art, where she developed an enthusiasm for the theatre to go alongside her earlier interest in wild plants.
The subjects of her engravings are often taken from literature or theatre, including characters from Shakespeare, Chaucer, and Ancient Greek plays. |
