Edward Ardizzone| Painter and potter. Studied at Newcastle, Edinburgh, Paris, Antwerp and Munich. Lived in Paris for 25 years where he was influenced by the work of Cezanne. He exhibited in Paris, London and New York. Died at Great Hampden, Buckinghamshire. The Tate Gallery and Victoria & Albert Museum hold examples of his work. |
